Description

This especially fun Havdallah set consists of a wine goblet, a candle holder, a clove-filled spice container and a plate. All of which have individual color combinations. The set is made of aluminum by Israeli artist Yair Emanuel. The Havdalah set consists of a Kiddush cup, spices or incense, and a multi-wick candle. Each item plays an important role in the ceremony: we fill the Kiddush cup with wine in order to give the ceremony the high status it merits. We smell the incense because of the Kabalistic belief that the sense of smell is the only sense that can affect our soul. Our soul, which is miserable as Shabbat leaves, is placated with pleasant aroma. Finally, we light the candle in remembrance of the first time Adam and Eve lit a fire using two stones. As Shabbat departs on Saturday night, we are commanded to perform the Havdalah ritual, Hebrew for “separation.” The Havdalah requires a number of indispensable items, which together make up the Havdalah set and represent different Jewish beliefs. This Havdalah set is a wonderful symbol that blends ancient traditions and modern designs, making it the perfect gift for the modern Jewish family that values Jewish traditions.

This is an anodized aluminum 4 pieces Havdallah set. The Havdallah set's royal gold color honor and celebrate the importance of the Havdallah ceremony. The material of the pieces is strong and corrosion resistant. It consists of a wine goblet, a tray to hold everything together, a candle holder and a clove-filled spice container. The meaning of this Jewish ceremony is to bid farewell to the ending Shabbat and greet the new week. The Havdallah ceremony is done after detecting three stars in the sky – because the Jewish days start from sunset. The wine, fire and herbs symbolize things that make one happy and they are used to sooth the pain of separation from the Shabbat.
This is a wonderful present for every occasion!
